Rachel + MIchael | San Diego Courthouse Wedding and the Beach |

Courthouse weddings aren't what you would think they are when just hear the phrase. Rachel and Michaels wedding day is a perfect example as to how a courthouse wedding can be very personal and unique wedding plan. For one, there is a lot less planning involved. I think the bride and groom can really concentrate on themselves and the experience of the day without the pressure of a year worth of plans looming over their afternoon. You also have your very close friends and family with you. They almost share the experience with you and are not just witness to it.

So if the groom happens to be trying to pass a kidney stone on his wedding day, you have a whole team to back him up. Honestly, Michael....I have no idea how you did that. With a smile to say the least. Or when the rings are left behind at the hotel room, only you team can come together, create stand in rings (it was like MacGuyver was in action!) and continue the day with nothing but smiles and a funny memory to your wedding day.

Below are some images of Michael and Rachel's wedding day. The ceremony was shot at the San Diego County Clerks Office, downtown San Diego on Harbor Drive. We shot the after photos on Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach as well as the Catamaran Resort in San Diego.
