So a while back I came across this awesome website called the "I Do Photographer Network." I signed up and created a profile and have loved everything this site has to offer. Not just from a photography standpoint, but from a creative DIY side of weddings. Last Friday I was out of town when I got the email that they were going to feature my profile on their blog! So, in celebration to how kick ass the "I Do" network is, I am offering $100 my full day wedding package to any and all brides and grooms who mention the website when booking me.

Ever since I started in photography I have thought photographers pricing and business practices were all over the place. Investments didn't match with quality of work, extra pricing for more than four people in a session (opps, sorry Party of Five that's an extra 50 spot) and most importantly the quality of work didn't seem to match with the quality of investment. That wasn't a typo. It is just how much it bothered me. Now, don't get me wrong. There are a TON of photographers that are worth every penny they charge. But, for every one of those awesome badass photographers there are 20 others that are not.

I want my brides and grooms to look back at their images in ten years and not think about how much they paid for their photos. (I know it happens. My wife and I do it every time we look at our photos.) I understand times are hard economically. It would be amazing to shoot weddings with $50,000 budgets. But its not who I am and not who I relate to. I like photographing real couples. Real people. Bride and grooms who look at their wedding day as something unique to them and not so much how big their rings are or which designer made their dress.
