Megan and Neil. This wasn't just another wedding for me to photograph. Megan is a Ramaglia. A family that not only my wife grew up with, but a family I have grown close to since I moved to California almost ten years ago. It felt fitting that I got the chance to photograph Megan's wedding. I remember the first time meeting Neil when he came over to our house for a get together. It was technically a "Girl's night plus Ryan" night (long story, married guys will get it...) And Neil ate all the food in our house and he let me drink one of his monster energy drinks. From these events alone I knew he was a good dude. Getting to know Neil over the last few years and watching their relationship grow has been awesome. Megan has grown into this smart and funny professional woman and Neil saves people lives for a living. They are remarkable.
Megan puts most wedding planners I have worked with to shame. She designed and planned this entire wedding herself. Anyone that has planned a wedding will know that is not a simple task, but it is what she does perfectly and effortlessly. She planned their awesome engagement session in the desert. Old Poway Park was the perfect wedding venue and I was stoked Megan chose it. I have shot numerous family sessions there, but this was the first chance I got to photograph a wedding at Old Poway Park. I think the Old Poway Park was the perfect venue for the style Megan has in mind. The lush green backdrop to the park is hard to naturally replicate anywhere else in San Diego.
There was a hilarious moment during the ceremony. Anyone that was there will know that exact moment if you keep looking at the officiants face...
Below are some of the images from their Old Poway Park wedding.
Megan! You are the most gorgeous bride! I love all the colors and everyone looks so happy. I was so glad to be with you as you married Neil! Keep remembering these movements as you look over these Amazing photos
