Cait & Casey | Dos Picos Park Wedding Ramona, CA

I knew when I shot Cait and Casey's engagement photos, that their wedding would not only be a blast to photograph, but also really fulfilling as a photographer as well. Dos Picos Park in Ramona was a beautiful location and Cait chose this epic spot under a huge tree for the ceremony. To date, this was one of the most personal and unique weddings I have shot. And that is exactly what a wedding should be. Not a day to follow old traditions that sometimes overtake the importance of the day or feel like they "have to be done," but more of a celebration of who two people are as a couple. Julian pies and ice cream in jars, a refrigerator holding cold drinks, and everywhere you looked were these cool personal wooded signs. Every little detail of the wedding felt like Cait and Casey, and I don't think you can ask for anything better on your wedding day.

Side note: Cait has played princess and cowgirl at my daughters birthday parties, it was cute that when I was editing her wedding, my daughter noticed the bride and thought it was cool the princess was getting married. Below are some images from their wedding.

This is the same car Cait's parents left in their wedding in. Rad car. Even radder (?) memory.
