These are the times that I am stoked to be a photographer. I was at a lunch break (or margarita break if you will) with my wife and her 3 Day team when I found out that there was going to be a big surprise at the finish. My wife's best friend's little sister was about to be proposed to. I have seen surprise engagement photographs before. It is impossible to recapture or fake the emotions of an amazing moment. Being able to capture something that only last very few seconds in real time, but will live on forever is just simply amazing. When I heard Neil was going to ask Megan to marry him at the end I immediately started thinking of how epic things were about to get in the next hour. To borrow a phrase from my wife's team, "shit's about to get real."
HUGE congratulations to Megan and Neil, both super nice people that I know will enjoy a wonderful lifetime together!

I feel really lucky to have been there! Yeah, the middle photo...I only posted it because of Amanda and Kristin looking in on you and felt it showed how happy they both were from you. Its real. I will dropbox the images and send you a link to grab them.
